Our Story
Like many couples in today’s world, we met online— but, what makes our story unique is we met on a politically right-leaning dating app! We’d both found it harder than we’d hoped to meet likeminded, Christian singles in our 30s. With Dana working in conservative politics and Greg being a gun-toting outdoorsman, it made sense to try to narrow the pool down a bit.
Once we connected online, we found out how much we had in common and how much fun we had together— we both love to cook, play tennis, two-step and spend time with our families! And, most importantly we are both committed to Jesus and His Kingdom.
We went from finding it hard to believe we’d ever find someone to finding it hard to believe we’d found someone so perfectly matched. The C.S. Lewis quote “Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another “What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” never rang truer.
It didn’t hurt that Greg found Dana “super cute” and Dana thought Greg had such charming blue eyes and a warm smile!
After a year of long-distance dating between Dallas and Austin, Greg proposed at the Historic Georgetown Square on July 16, 2024 and Dana couldn’t say “Yes!” fast enough.
We’re excited to celebrate our love and commitment with family and friends at our December wedding!
After the wedding, we plan to honeymoon in Asheville, North Carolina— the eastern gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains. We’ll reside in Leander, Texas near where Greg works as the Campus Security Manager at Hill Country Christian School and Church.
